This is as simple project, but important to keep the convertible top support bar above the window from falling down. OEM convertible tops have straps to hold the support bar in place, but they are missing from my aftermarket top.

How long did you make the strap? And where did you put the rivets?
Hi Jonas – After I replaced my convertible top 4 years ago I didn’t need the strap anymore. Sorry, I can’t find it to measure. It was approximately 10 inches long, with the snaps about 3 inches apart on each end. The first version I made using velcro, but the adhesive didn’t last, so I used it as a template for the snap one.
